Measuring the appeal of products displays

How long do individuals spend looking at a product display? Has an individual who viewed product A also viewed product B, and if so for how long?

Such questions are answered by face detection in camera images. Personal identification does not take place, however. The algorithms permit completely anonymous analysis of whether a face appears in a camera image or not.

Contemporary methods based on neural networks and statistical classifiers also help to distinguish between male and female individuals. Even a rough estimation of the person's age is possible.
