Networking of local transport companies, task forces, promoters and passenger safety in local public transport at big events.

VeRSiert aim to improve safety on local public transport by providing better organisation and IT networking for local public transport companies, task forces, promoters and passengers. An interaction between simulation, video analysis, planning manual, mobile media and customer surveys was designed and exemplarily tested for specific scenarios at concerts and football games in the city of Cologne.

As part of a research project, Vitracom AG is working on video-supported systems for diagnosing dangerous situations, which automatically recognise suspicious behaviour of individuals or groups based on recognised examples and patterns and completes a risk analysis triggering various warning operations.

The project was completed successfully in Mai 2011.
