Provision of technical infrastructure
  • ShopView MONITOR for automated monitoring of computer networks
  • Ticket system (system for the management of customer metadata, archiving of configuration files and structured processing of faults and defects)
  • Customer access to view the respective processing statuses and reporting of any downtimes
  • Database for configuration management
  • Integration of the SiteView systems into the customer network (IT integration)
  • Data hosting and result visualisation with ShopView Chart in customer-specific format

Provision of staff infrastructure

  • Telephone hotline on a special service number, 09:00 – 18:00
  • Quality control centre for manual checking of measuring accuracies
  • Short, defined response times and technician deployment on site if required

Automatic checks by ShopView MONITOR (checking carried out several times per day)

Network:

  • Accessibility via a network
  • Availability of the synchronisation service
  • Correct time of the SiteView devices
  • SNMP present

SiteView device / camera:

  • Hard disk temperature and memory available
  • Hard disk check for hardware faults (SMART)
  • System and processor load
  • Watchdog working correctly
  • SiteView software working correctly
  • Number of video channels in use

  • Camera image (image contrast, image refresh rate, image present, no camera image)
  • Camera twisted / permanent change of scene

Data quality:

  • Fault reporting in the case of significant variations between the expected and measured values
    (e.g. more / fewer people than expected are counted)

Manual measures

  • Execution of documented, manual control counts using remote video monitoring after installation of the device
  • Execution of remote monitoring and checking via the network on finding or suspicion of unexpected deviations

Maintenance of settings

  • Integration of new locations and location changes in ShopView MONITOR / data hosting, the ticket system and in the monitoring system
  • Set-up and maintenance of logins and access authorisations
  • Reparameterisation of systems if required after repairs and conversions
  • Configuration management: saving all settings from the network and SiteView devices as well as log files and access data in the Vitracom configuration database
